Your task for the Horrible Histories books is to create your own fictional (made up) Horrible Histories for Boroondara Park Primary School. You can make it into a little book complete with front cover and illustrations. The book should be written in the funny way that the Horrible Histories are written. You should imagine that you are writing about the school as if it is in the past. Do we have to write out the spelling words again this week?

 With a partner you have to create My Place entries for the two missing years - 1998 and 2008. You will have to consider a number of things - how you link it with pages from the book (which characters, locations, events are still around in 1998 and 2008), what stays the same and what changes. You need to create text, a map and pictures. One entry for each person would be fair.

This is your homework for Henry Sugar.

The book is a collection of short stories written by Roald Dahl over many years. The longest story is the one about Henry Sugar and it’s also the name of the collection. But should it be? 

Your task is to make a convincing case for your story to become the title for the collection. You will need to deliver a speech to your fellow Bookie Monsters as to the merits of your story (and maybe the problems with the other stories). The speech should go for around 3 minutes. It will be delivered next week.
