   I think that it is important because without the crystal they will be hopeless and get constantly attacked and killed!!!

   I think the crystal might be important because it may be protecting something. Also could be some sort of power source to keep Maris and Rin people alive. Or it might be power to destoy the people of Maris and Rin.

   Dear Mr Hone,
   For the diary entry it is not going well for me because the second day for Rowan is like taking forever. It seems that the second day starts at pg 27 to the end of the book. I read a litte bit ahead and the day still doesn’t end, I read up to pg 94.
