What are the postives and negatives of Flavia’s Dad leaving often on long sea journeys?

A positive thing is that he won’t be called all the time to find stuff that he’s lost.
A negative thing is that she won’t be able to see him or talk to him.

The bad thing is that Flavia dosn’t see her dad, but she has to get use to it.
THe good thing is she can be on a adventure

a bad thing is she might miss here dad because here dad is the only parent she has.

I think the negative is that its Flavia’s father and he has been her only family her mum died and know her dad is leaving.
The postive is she won’t need to solve not as many mysterys

The positive side on Flavia’s dad leaving on sea journeys is that she will have some time by herself and get to do things her dad wont let her e.g exploring. The negatives are that Flavia will miss her dad when hes gone.

BAd=he leaves Flavia with her friends, with no one else
GOOD=he dosn’t know what Flavia is up to

Positive:
Is that when he leaves Flavia can spend more time with her friends and
make new ones.
Negative:
When Flavia’s dad leaves she’ll feel really sad because he is the only family
member living with her.
