1. Go to the AFL site that shows you results - http://afl.com.au/Results/tabid/11433/default.aspx 
  2. Click on Round 1 tab.
  3. Beneath the box with the two teams logos, click on “report”.
  4. At the very bottom of the page is the crowd figure. Copy this into a new Excel spreadsheet.
  5. Once you have done all the 8 games for the round, go back to Excel and round them to the nearest 10,000 people.
  6. Using the “add’ formula, add up the two sets of figures (the real crowd figures and the rounded numbers).
  7. Is rounding to the nearest 10,000 useful (is it close to the real figure)?
  8. Decide on another amount to round to and complete a fourth column for your new rounding. 
  9. Complete the sheet for round one and decide the best way you can present your work.afl.jpg
